AroundTheWorld: Denmark

What comes to mind when I think back to my time in Copenhagen is beauty.  Beautiful architecture, beautiful (blonde) people, and even beautiful food.  Here are a few beautiful highlights...

A true Danish danish...they are SO much better over there!

A beer with a view - Copenhagen's Nyhavn harbor

One of my favorite meals of the trip!
Impeccable fish and chips with homemade relish.

Restaurant Schønnemann - famous open-face sandwiches since 1877

Serious works of art!

Prawns at Nam Nam, stumbling upon it while exploring the area near our hotel.  Turns out it's a new restaurant opened by the chef/owner of Noma, which is rated the best restaurant in the world!

I hadn't had Wagamama since I was in London in 2001.
So excited to see it during our our day at Tivoli Gardens.
Damn good noodles.

Went for the "large" Coke light that required two hands.
Spending $7 on a giant soda is normal, right?! Only in Europe...!

Torvehallerne - new food gourmet food market.
Talk about fresh fish. Wow.
